The Road to Peace...by Marcia Johnson

The Road to Peace…by Marcia Johnson

All things first begin to form in Thought. Thoughts move into CONVERSATION and then progress into ACTION. Every great leader in all aspects of life started with a single thought, a divine inspiration. Over and over I hear statements like “thoughts become things”, “we are what we think”, “where attention goes energy flows,”and ‘“change your thoughts and you will change your world!” The same process applies to creating Peace on Earth. In years gone by, we have had an abundance of inspired leaders plant the seeds for the growth of Peace throughout our planet.

We have had amazing people pioneer the way by fearlessly standing tall in the belief that not only can we all live in harmony but we are all connected, our fundamental needs and desires are all the same. Throughout time these mentors have started the conversation about the possibilities of PEACE. Mother Teresa, Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy are just some of the dedicated Legends that helped to highlight the necessity for Peace.

Even though these phenomenal people have passed on; their Intention to make this world a better place still exists. All over the world people are talking, lighting candles, and living their talk of Peace. People have gathered together physically and in thought to connect into the collective consciousness in order to fulfill the objective of bringing about Peace on Earth. A great person in my life once told me that, “All things can be solved in conversation! ALL Things.” Are you being included in this conversation?

We have created a group on facebook called, “Celebrating the PEACE of Legends!” All sorts of people in our past and present are creating a medium open to all interested in contributing to the REVELOUTION of Peace. It is not a movement because a movement will come to an end at some point. This Peaceful revelation will transform the earth as we know it.

I am writing this note today with the intention of helping you understand that the universe does not choose the qualified, it qualifies the chosen. You do not have to be a prophet, have a huge network , have barrels of money or become a martyr in order to make a difference. All you have to do is join the conversation. So weather you join our facebook group or any of the other great groups, attend a prayer rally, or light a candle in the name of Peace, this is your invitation to become a part of something much greater than anything we have ever known. Become Peace with in and as the Law of Attraction suggests that like attracts like by turning to Peace we receive more of the same. Please know that uniting in Peace and peaceful actions you are changing your world. Be the Change

In all Humbleness.Namaste,Marcia

Removing Your Own Limits...by Marcia Johnson

Removing Your Own Limits
As a child, I had childish beliefs; they were my own truths that I carried with me for many many years, beliefs that limited my own experiences. For example I hated to eat tomatoes, zucchini, nuts, spinach, chicken and even gravy. As I have matured, I removed my own childish limitations and beliefs that denied me the opportunity to try new things.

Growing up, I stopped myself from exploring new places because perhaps there might be snakes. Silly because 10 times out of 10, no snakes were found by any of my friends; however, they were able to have fun, while I sat on the sidelines. I had built up a fear that created a wall that stopped me from having lots of enjoyment. Somewhere in my childhood, I picked up the false belief that all snakes were dangerous. (I still think they are yucky, but I am no longer a captive to my own fears.) I know now that F.E.A.R. is only False- Evidence- Appearing- Real.
Along our life paths we pick up “truths” that placed limits on our own experiences. They may come from our parents, friends, television, religion or teachers. We carry these beliefs with us throughout our lives. Since truth is only relative to our own life experiences; perhaps we looked up to someone that was prejudice, then usually unknowingly, we carry this false evidence with us throughout our lives. A great example of this can be found in the following story:

When my kids were younger, my oldest son was making fun of his younger brother because he was born with 100% hearing lose in one of his ears. In order to stop the abuse, I told the older one that he had no room to talk because he was not born perfect either. I told him that he was born without a belly button. The only reason that he had one now was because I did not want him to be made fun of so I paid for him to have one implanted.

So for about 5 years he believed beyond a shadow of a doubt that he was born without a belly button. Until the day he was sitting in grade 5 health class hearing his teacher describe the purpose of an umbilical cord. Colten raised his hand and asked how his teacher explained how he was able to receive nourishment without having a belly button. Well long story short, let’s just say he was none too happy with his mother when he got home from school that day. A quick story that at the time never meant any harm turned into a belief that he carried with him for years…because it was a “truth” that he had learnt from someone that he trusted.

There was a time that everyone on earth believed that the earth was flat, then along came Christopher Columbus and proved otherwise. If it weren’t for Henry Ford, everyone will still believe that horses were the only way to travel. Thanks to Tomas Edison’s mind stretching inventions, everyone today has the gift of light. These men are great examples of why it is so important not to deny ourselves the chance to nurture our personal development. When we hold on to limiting beliefs, we deny ourselves the chance to grow and experience opportunities to learn.

If we can set aside our own limited beliefs, we can open ourselves up. The Tao Te Ching, teaches us to remain flexible and open to change. When we hold onto past beliefs that make us firm and unbendable, we are unable to grow. It is like planting a seed in a container with a lid on it, yes the seed may grow, however it will only grow as big as the container allows. This is the same as if we deny ourselves the experience to grow by holding onto our own limiting beliefs. We place a lid on our own life experiences.

What if, we suspend everything that we were to previously believe to be true as we approach a new situation? By doing this, we are able to see things from a new perspective. This gives us the opportunity to see things clearer and expand our own learning. When we remove our own limitations and false evidenced that appears real, we grow like never before!

Unless we have had the opportunity to travel the globe and experience new cultures and understanding, most enlightenment has been in the blind spot of our life experience. That is the reason we are building the EAUPENING (opening). In order to bring to light all that is GOOD in the world and in ourselves....The EAUPENING provides a place for everyone, any age, race, religion or background to fill their cup with all things positive. It is a place where content is monitored by the users. Drink from the Source

Drink from the Source…by Marcia Johnson

During my youth, I was raised in a small town, a place where everyone knew each other and for the most part, they looked out for each other; with one exception. With that watchful eye came a major dose of gossip. People knew what I was doing and even conjured up when, why and who I would be doing something before the thought even crossed my mind. I would also be prejudged of doing things that I would never even consider doing.

Some of the people in my town would talk about not only me and my friends but also almost everyone else. Under the guise of “concern” conversations would last hours, days and are still taking place lifetimes later. When it comes to gossiping and creating rumors, it is like poisoning the town’s water supply. Depending on the dose, it can either be enough to seriously harm other people in the town or make everyone involved very sick.

For many years in my life, I did the same. I would consciously and unconsciously find myself doing the exact thing that had only brought negativity in my life. It really did not matter the content of the conversation, what did matter was that the subject was none of my business to begin with. Truth be told, the only reason I would focus on what I would call another person’s problems was when I did not want to look into my own life and deal with my own pain.

In my life now, if something comes up that brings me concern, I go right to the source. It is like climbing up to the place where the fresh water is pouring out of the mountain rather than drinking miles downstream where the cows and wild animals have defecated. Drinking right from the purest place of information helps to keep everyone involved healthier. The climb to the source also allows me time to truly consider if the reason I am climbing honestly affects me. Unless my family or my businesses are going to be harmed from not finding out the truth…it does not matter. If there is no impingement, there is no reason to climb further!

This approach to gossip is how I have been able to honor my friendships with others in a very loving and sincere way. It is very liberating not to carry the guilt and worry that talking behind someone else’s back brought into my world. In the long run, not only did it hurt the people that I would talk about, I was the one that it would hurt the very most.

Building me up by tearing others down is no way to find true happiness. Bathing in the filth infested waters of gossip ended up making me stink the most. I now make the decision to shower at the source of all information. By deciding to turn off the tap of gossip, I have lost some friends along the way however, they were the type of friends that would pull me in with them because they were drowning in their own lives and did not want to be alone in the misery they created for themselves.

Allowing myself to climb out of the lake of gossip, I have been able to create new friendships with people whose intentions are out front for the world to see. People who are transparent in their desires to make the world a much better place by building it up and not tearing it apart. Thank you dearly for being a piece of my new world. A world of Love, Peace and Understanding.

Most Humbly,
Marcia

The Road of Life...YOU are in the Driver's Seat.

As I was driving home the other day, I reflected on how similar that being in the driver’s seat is to Life. For most of my life I thought I was a passenger, feeling like life was happening to me instead of claiming responsibility for the journey that I was on, it was much easier to sit back and ride along.

However, when I looked glanced up at the mirror I realized that I was in the driver’s seat all along. I was merely looking at the reflection of my life; where I had been. I could go no further on my journey when my center of attention was simply on my past. Focusing on the rear view mirror will never show me what is in my future, it only show’s me what has gone by and where I came from...that was a part of my trip…but not as important as where I was going.

In the driver’s seat of life, I get to chart my path, I decide who rides with me, where I may stop along the way. By starting the car, having a plan, and putting the car in drive, I decide what is next. Sometimes, people may come onto the highway and cut me off… I keep going, sometimes slower vehicles may slow me down, but that gives me the opportunity to look around..and not speed pass some great opportunities that I may have overlooked. Even with great friends suggestions acting as my GPS system, I AM responsible for getting to the destination.

“The past will never change, but you can
change the future by changing your actions
today. It is really a very simple process.
We, as humans, are always in a process of
change. Therefore, we might as well guide
the direction in which we will change.”
—From The Traveler’s Gift

I wear the seat belt to remind me that yes there are going to be bumps on the road…but that is all a part of the trip. I may drive down a gravel road or a smooth highway, either way; it is up to me to keep focused on the road ahead. I can glance behind me for a moment to remind me of where I have been; however focusing on the road ahead will bring me closer to my destination.

My Grandfather used to say, “No matter who you are, No matter what you are, You Must Start where you are.” I would like to encourage you to Start. (Turn off the cruise control.) Decide where your destination will be, put your life on drive, focus on the road in front of you, know your goal and make it to your destination. Even though it sometimes feels like you are on the road alone, you are not. Some of us occasionally travel in a four wheel drive and are only a phone call away to give you a push.

Remember that Every Action that you Take, Every Decision that you Make…Everything that YOU do MATTERs.

I love you,
Most Humbly,
Marcia
